jade cruz quinn

, poet

Jade Cruz Quinn is a Los Angeles*-based poet and interdisciplinary writer whose work explores the sacred and profane as inseparable. Using divinatory poetics and post-traumatic reimagining, she makes ritual out of whatever remains. Her work has been showcased at the Philosophical Research Society, New Orleans Poetry Festival, and art spaces throughout North America. She is a former Skid Row community aid worker and educator, now working as a professional writer and designer. She believes in writing as resurrection and in poetry as both compass and altar—a means of reclaiming sovereignty. She writes for those who live at the threshold of change.
