I am a poet, filmmaker, and multimedia artist. I have a passion for serving communities on the margins of society—at-risk youth, the homeless population, and those who were formerly incarcerated. My experience spans digital marketing, social services, education, and the arts. In 2016, I was awarded the Amiri Baraka Award from my alma mater in recognition of my work in marginalized communities. After teaching at-risk and special needs youth, I transitioned to working in social service organizations, serving the Skid Row community for the past 3+ years. In addition, I have worked professionally in digital marketing for over 5 years, with expertise in email campaigns, social media, copywriting, SEO, and more.

My debut short film, Please Open A Door for Me, will be released at the 2019 Oaxaca International Film Festival.
